A Few Things To Know Before, During And After Your Trip
It is our job to make sure that everything runs smoothly, and assist you from the very first enquiry to the day we say goodbye at the end of the trip. Here is some information that should answer any questions you have right now, but as always get in touch if you have further queries.
Before You Go
Here are some things to consider before you plan your trip with us:
- You already hold a LSA license, an up to date medical and have flown a minimum of 20 hours.
- Every pilot who will be flying with us will have a Check Flight before we set off to make sure we are all safe. No re-training will be available on the tour
- We will sometimes be covering large distances in one leg, so you should be used to long-distance cross-country flights. This will ensure you are comfortable with being in the aircraft for several hours at a time and give you confidence when flying in unfamiliar territory.
- We fly up to 6 aircraft in one tour at a time. Both aircraft we use are two seaters. You can come solo or with a partner or friend or a group of friends. Or you could take the opportunity to meet new friends and join a group who have booked separately with us. It is entirely up to you.
During The Adventure
While you are with us we ensure that you only have to think about enjoying yourself and living the dream. So while you are with us:
On your first or second day, your jet-lag permitting, you will have your Check Flight at base to ensure you are ready to fly. Once this has been achieved you are ready to go!
Our Chief Pilot will provide briefings every morning and have already called in the flight plan for the day. He will also have checked the weather. One of the risks on flying tours is of course the weather and there may be days when we have to change our plans. It will always be our aim to make sure that alternative activities take place where possible. In some cases you may incur extra costs in these events, but we always try to minimise these. As adventurers you will know that being flexible and aware of the environment cannot be controlled by us mortals.
The tour director will also be ensuring that everything on the ground runs smoothly, from airport transfers, to accommodation and meals and any issues that may arise on the way.
When We Say Goodbye
You will have completed your adventure of a lifetime, seen incredible things , met wonderful new people and above all had terrific fun. The only things to do next is share your adventure with all your friends and book a new and exciting tour for next time!
