On your arrival:
Fly to Sydney. Catch your connecting flight to Tamworth. Rest easy and sleep off that jet lag in your hotel.
A leisurely start. Have your check flight at Tamworth airfield and meet your chief pilot and guide for a briefing on the safety and plan for the trip. A group lunch so that everyone can get to know each other and then the rest of the day off to make sure we are all fresh and ready to start flying the next day.
And so the flying begins! A briefing from the Chief Pilot and then it’s chocks away. First stop Mudgee. There is plenty to do in Mudgee, with its great restaurants, wine bars and of course cellar doors to sample at.
Fly off to Temora for a visit to the fine air museum to see the static displays as well as war bird aerial display over the airfield. A relaxing evening in the wonderful Bowling Green restaurant.
Another beautiful flight down to Milawa where we will fly into the Brown Brothers vineyard airfield for a wine tasting lunch. Also a visit to historic town of Beechworth, famous for the notorious Ned Kelly is an option. Dining at the fine restaurant at our hotel that evening or a wonderful Italian option down the road.
Onwards to Victoria’s pretty spa region of Daylesford and a day or two to enjoy the natural springs, the wonderful restaurants and plenty of vineyards to visit depending on your preference. (Flying into Ballarat).
